The NYCD Emerald Society invites All Members of the department to participate in the celebration of the Feast of Saint Patrick.
This year’s Grand Marshal for the Emerald Society is
Deputy Chief of Department Michael Hourihane.
The Saint Patrick’s Day Parade Committee has parade officials and judges along the parade route who will determine the best marching unit. Keep in step, watch your lines and act professionally at all times.
Uniform Members-Class “A’’ Uniform, Summer Blouse, White Gloves.
Retired Members, Civilian Members, Union Officials-Proper Business Attire
THE DRESS CODE IS NOT NEGOTIABLE
No family members or children are allowed to participate in the parade.
They can meet you at the after parade party that will be held at
St Jean Baptiste School

Due to new NYC Parade Regulations the Saint Patrick's Day parade will end on 79street
Be smart take public transportation to and from the city.
All guests or members of any outside Agency must be approved by the Executive Board of Emerald Society and by the Saint Patrick's Parade Committee. The NYCD Emerald Society is the affiliated member of the Saint Patrick’s Parade and reserves the right to deny any or person’s participation in the 2011 parade.
